Terms and Conditions
Please read and understand the entire document. By accepting and/or receiving in writing/email or verbally, the estimate/invoice given by an authorized agent of Core V Construction, you, the customer (“You” or “Customer”) , agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions of service. Commencement of work will be an indication that you have read and agreed to said terms and conditions of service.
By accepting and making a deposit on this estimate, you acknowledge that you are the owner or authorized by the owner to enter into this contract, where fence install will take place.
IDENTIFICATION OF PROPERTY LINES AND PERMITS
You, as the customer, are responsible for finding and clearly marking your property lines prior to commencement of installation. If you are unable to find the official pins or markers designating your property, Core V Construction recommends having your property professionally surveyed.
Core V Construction is not responsible for removal or relocation of fences installed on inaccurately located lines. Core V Construction is not responsible for obtaining installation permits if required by the local government unless agreed on contract.
Warranty covers cases where fence materials are not properly secured, causing the fence panels to fall out of place.
AESTHETICS OF THE INSTALLED PRODUCT
The contour of your yard and/or improvements will affect the way the fence can be installed in relation to the ground. In some areas you may have gaps under the fence.
The contour of your yard also will affect the way the top of the fence looks. The following example demonstrates how finished top and bottom fence lines can look. Standard fence installation is 2” off the ground. If you would like to lower, please specify.
Core V Construction cannot guarantee that your desired gap will be maintained throughout your fence. This is determined by your site conditions
YARD ACCESS AND EXISTING LANDSCAPING
You (the customer) grants access to Core V Construction Personnel (installers, sales associates, other personnel) to yard and property for general purposes of fencing up to and until installation is complete and payment is received in full from customer to Core V Construction.
Core V Construction needs a five (5) foot area to work in with their equipment. Although Core V Construction and its employees will use its utmost caution in attempting to preserve all existing landscaping, damage can occur under the normal course of installation for which Core V Construction is not responsible.
Any touching or movement of the posts within 48 hours may move the posts out of alignment and affect the stability and aesthetics of your new fence and may require additional labor to reset/correct the issue for which additional charges may apply. DO NOT TOUCH newly set posts for a minimum of 48 hours.
PUBLIC UNDERGROUND UTILITIES
Core V Construction will call and have your property “blue staked” prior to the installation. Utah State Law requires any excavation being done within 24” of the fence line to be dug without the use of power equipment and hand dug only as a matter of safety.
If Core V Construction is required to hand dig more than 5 holes because of the location of public utilities, the fence line will either: need to be moved to a location that does not interfere with utilities or; the customer will have to pay a hand digging fee of $15.00 per hole.
PERSONAL UNDERGROUND UTILITIES
The Blue Stakes service does not mark personal underground utilities. This could include, but is not limited to, such things as sprinkler/irrigation pipes, heads, valve control wires, cables and conduits, ects.
In many cases, sprinkler lines and heads are located in the same locations you ask us to install your fence. In some cases adjoining property owner’s lines can be in the way as well.
Personal underground utilities should be moved or the fence line should be moved so as to not interfere with personal underground utilities. Core V Construction is not responsible for damage to said lines and does not not take responsibility for repairs or replacements.
EXCESS DIRT
During the excavation phase of the installation, excess dirt is generated . You must designate the place on your property stipulated. Core V Construction does not haul off excess dirt.
Please note small amounts of excess dirt may remain in grass or landscape materials such as wood chips, bark, or gravel and this small the amount of excess dirt will wash away or be absorbed within a week or two.
PAYMENT AND OWNERSHIP
Payment in full is due upon completion of the project. Full Payment of any outstanding balance not made within 5 days of completion is subject to
penalty and interest of 2% of outstanding balance per week.
Core V Construction will
remain the sole owner of all fence material installed or not installed until full payment is received. A 3% processing fee is added to credit card payments.
